The room at Bunk Planet in Kandy was cozy and comfortable, with a kitchen that made me feel right at home. I loved having the option to cook my own meals and save some money while on the road. The air conditioning was a welcome relief from the Kandy heat, and the private balcony was a nice touch. Plus, the free in-room WiFi was a lifesaver for staying connected.
The shared bathroom at Bunk Planet was the only downside for me. It's a personal preference, but I would have preferred a private bathroom.

Loved the daily buffet and à la carte breakfast options, especially because the food magically appeared without me having to lift a finger. Also, enjoyed the convenience of a free airport shuttle and complimentary WiFi. Such a hassle-free stay!
Wasn't a fan of the telepathic mold growing in the bathrooms, but hey, who needs fresh air when you're drowning in sewage fumes? #luxuryliving

The staff was hella friendly and hooked us up with all the info we needed to hit up the top spots. We chilled at the badass rooftop terrace, showing off our swag and vibing to some dope tunes. Plus, we could surf the web all day thanks to their sick WiFi. It was the perfect place for us cool kids to hang out and have a blast!
The only thing we wished for was a more happening party scene. Don't get me wrong, Bunk Planet was wicked, but we were hoping for some wild parties with fellow young party-goers.

I stayed at Bunk Planet for a few nights during my trip to Sri Lanka. The capsule-style bunk beds were a unique and comfortable experience. Each capsule had its own fan, hanger, plug, and lights, providing privacy and convenience. The beds were really comfortable, and the luggage space under the beds was spacious enough. The rooftop area with swings, sundecks, and a table with chairs was a great place to relax in the evenings. The helpful and polite young guy at the reception made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel.
Totally recommend this hotel.

I had a great experience at this hostel called Bunk Planet. The staff was extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. They went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, such as preparing breakfast early so I could catch my morning train. The hot showers were refreshing and I even rented a motorcycle from the hostel, which made getting around the area very convenient. The location is less than 5 minutes walking distance from the train station, making it easy to find. The beds were clean and I appreciated the curtains for added privacy. it was a simple place but definitely enough for a good rest.
Nothing, it was perfect! 😊

During my Christmas stay, I really enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff who made my experience memorable. the beds were comfortable and the concept of the capsule bed was unique, giving me a cozy little room of my own. the location was a key advantage as it was within walking distance from both the bus and train station. This made it convenient for me to explore the city and easily access transportation.
The cleanliness of the bathroom could have been better, although it was sufficient. the wifi in the dorm didn't work properly, but I was able to access it in the common room on the 3rd floor.
